Located at our corporate offices in Los Gatos, CA and reporting directly to the SVP/GM of Company’s Platform Business, the VP Data Science is responsible for leading Company’s data science strategy, hiring world-class data science and analytics talent, and driving the use of data across Company’s business.

Primary responsibilities:

• Leverage Company’s trove of user and TV viewing data
• Develop key insights and ongoing measures of consumer engagement
• Develop and manage key operating metrics used for internal and public reporting
• Partner with product and engineering on recommendations and targeting algorithms
• Partner with data and platform engineering teams to ensure reliable, accurate, scalable infrastructure
• Measure the impact of Company’s content marketing and advertising products
• Champion data-driven decisions/culture across the organization, supported by tools (eg. experimentation platform) and scalable process
• Operate a data science services org to the rest of Company’s businesses and functions (including data collection, modeling, and analytics, forecasting, etc.)
• Partner with data platform to select and build the tools to support above strategies
• Hire and groom world-class talent

• Experience in consumer behaviors, content, content marketing, and advertising
• A strong vision for what’s possible with Company’s rich data set
• Expert user of Big Data technologies/platforms, statistical platforms and data visualization tools, advanced SQL skills, hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modeling and statistical analysis techniques

Description

• Vice Presidents play a key role in supporting origination through opportunity evaluation, project management, and deal execution. The incumbent will work closely with senior bankers and play an integral role in client management, pitching, and leading the deal teams.
• Financial modeling (DCF, LBO)
• Oversee junior resources in financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, LBO and DCF analysis
• Preparing and executing final client presentation work (financial models, pitch materials, industry research)
• Leading due diligence efforts
• Healthcare bankers are expected to have substantial industry knowledge in Biotechnology, Specialty Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and/or Diagnostics, Care Facilities, Clinics, or Healthcare Real Estate . It is mandatory for the incumbent to have spent at least 3 years in a Healthcare-focused investment banking group.

Profile

• Minimum of 1 year working at the Vice President level in an active investment banking group with substantial deal-closing experience
• Superior financial modeling and company valuations skills are mandatory, as the incumbent will be responsible for creating, preparing, interpreting, and reviewing complex financial models

• Academic background in biology or other related science field is a plus but not required

Our client is on move looking for a dynamic technology leader to take part in their significant expansion as their Senior Architect.  In this role you will be responsible for rearchitecting their signature product to reflect todays continuous integration, continuous delivery model.   You will be responsible for the overall architecture of their RPA platform and will have direct responsibility for architectural consistency, reliability, serviceability and scaling of current and future infrastructure, tools, core services and APIs which are used by our customers and the rest of engineering teams in a secure fashion.
